Riverfest 2012 will be located alongside the Chattahoochee River, at 2520 Paul Avenue, Atlanta Ga. 30318, at the Argos Atlanta plant (formerly LaFarge). There will be free parking available.
Directions:
From the Northside: Take I-285 West past I-75, past Paces Ferry, past South Atlanta Road, and exit at South Cobb Drive and go left inside the perimeter. Cross the Chattahoochee River, take the first left on Bolton Road. Go through 2 traffic lights then turn left on Paul Avenue. The festival will be a quarter mile ahead on the right.
From Buckhead or I-75: Take Moores Mill Road west to the dead end. Turn right on Bolton Road. Just before the 4th traffic light, turn right on Paul Avenue. The festival will be a quarter mile ahead on the right.
From the Southside: Take I-285 North (around the west side of town) past I-20, past Hollowell Pkwy, exit on Bolton Road and turn right. Go through 5 traffic lights, and turn left on Paul Avenue. The festival will be a quarter mile ahead on the right.
Food will be available for purchase from local vendors as well as water, soft drinks, etc. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase. Alcoholic beverages must remain on site. APD or Festival Security will dispose of all alcoholic beverages before you exit or enter.
Riverfest 2012 is handicap friendly. Please let us know if you have special needs.
There will be qualified trained staff on site for First Aid and EMS services and ambulance service available from 911 if needed. Safety is important to us.
Pets will be allowed in the Festival and must be kept on a leash at all times. Please pick up after your pets. Any pets that show aggressive behavior will be asked to be removed from the Festival.
During the event there will be staff members, Atlanta Police Department, Festival Security and volunteers with identifiable uniformed shirts. Please direct any questions or problems to them.
This is a rain or shine event. If the weather poses a safety risk to patrons and participants, the Festival will close and information will be announced as to the nature of the risk, exit instructions, and possible re-open times. No refunds.
